My Purchase with Peter Olson

When I met Peter he first started by asked as many questions as he could about the truck I was looking for. My use of the truck, the age of the truck, the price range, interior style, preferred colour and so on. Peter called and had a few trucks for me to look at and drive to compare. I spent about 3 hours with Peter and it was a casual afternoon and a lot of questions were answered.I enjoyed my purchase with Peter.

Fantastic Salesman, beware additional fees!
4.65
I purchased a vehicle from Alan at the beginning of the month and he was a pleasure to work with. Very quick response to my email enquiry and set up a test drive at my convenience. He was friendly and professional throughout the entire process making sure that the whole transaction was a pleasant one. However, the dealership has a couple of additional fees they add to your purchase after you've agreed to a price. A $199 insurance transfer fee and a $795 service fee which added $1000 to the final invoice presented for signature. No mention of these fees before this which was disappointing. Fees are a necessary evil when buying a vehicle but this dealership needs to be up front about them like they are with the documentation fee of $599.

The F-Series will soon boast a fresh look - with Ford enhancing both the architecture and powertrain of the 2018 F-150. This platform promises a mid-cycle upgrade that should impress even the most pernicious pick-up fan.

According to The Drive, the 2018 F-150 has been redesigned - with Ford emphasizing the need for superior economy. To achieve this, it’s redefined the truck’s fascia, fusing it with high-strength aluminum-alloy (critics estimate that more than 70% of the paneling has been replaced). This creates a lightweight frame that, when paired with the new 10-speed automatic transmission and EcoBoost system, provides best-in-class efficiency: an EPA-estimated 30 MPGs on the highway.

That will surely impress North American drivers, helping to reduce resource consumption and offer relief from constant fuel station visits. The 2018 F-150 delivers more than superior mileage, however. It also boasts all-terrain capabilities, with its 3.5L V6 engine revving to 375 HP and 470 lb.-ft of torque. No road will prove too difficult to conquer and no task will be too great.

We can’t wait to see this truck in B.C.!

Ford F-Series Earns Massive March Sales

Tags:
(Posted on Apr 24, 2017 at 08:38PM by Lee Byard)
new ford f150 for sale bcHistory often repeats itself - and March proved no exception, delivering a familiar sales pattern for Ford.

According to Yahoo Finance, the F-Series - anchored by the F-150, F-250, and F-350 - secured yet another chart win. The brand earned approximately 81,000 total units in March, easily besting the competition (Chevrolet Silverado, 42,410 units; GM Sierra, 60,870 units; Toyota Tundra, 9,538 units). This provided an impressive 10.1% year-to-year increase for Ford, further cementing its place within the market.

Unlike many companies - such as GM, which saw a consumer drop of 14.3% - Ford has managed to push its F-Series to the public forefront. North American drivers seek out this line-up more than any other, and they’ve helped to propel it to a staggering 40-year sales streak. No other pick-up can claim such a victory.

The F-Series serves as the premier pick-up fleet - and March’s record-breaking totals simply showcase the loyalty it’s earned from drivers.

Ford Officially Launches F-150 Raptor In China

Since 2010 the F-150 Raptor has delivered class-shattering power - connecting North America to sport-tuned suspensions, advanced Terrain Management Systems, and turbocharged engines. It’s allowed drivers to seek out roads that were once impossible, with its signature Baja AWD creating precise traction control.

Now the F-150 Raptor is charting a new course - to China.

According to Car News, Ford is sending the 2017 Raptor across the sea. The pick-up will make its overseas debut in China, providing crew-cab adaptability and top-tier performance. Anchored by a 3.5L turbo-V6 engine, this platform will generate 415 HP and 500 lb.-ft of torque. The extended 543-mm cargo bed will allow for easy hauling, while the lightweight chassis (7050-pounds) will ensure deft handling across every terrain.

This should propel the 2017 Raptor past the competition, yielding strong sales and equally strong consumer interest - two elements that prove crucial to Ford’s recent plans to expand its brand internationally. The F-150 will serve as its introduction to a new (and growing) market.

Power has forever proven the cornerstone of the F-150 Raptor - with each generation yielding a robust engine and a responsive drivetrain. These F-Series variants have been engineered for off-road adventures, and they proudly bear the custom badges of Ford’s Baja spirit.

That spirit will soon extend beyond the dunes, however - because the Raptor is receiving a circuit-worthy upgrade.

According to Road and Track, Ford has just allied with performance-tuner Hennessey to create the ultimate Raptor. The new F-150 platform (which offers 450 HP and 510 lb.-ft of torque in stock form) will now yield a staggering 605 HP and 622 lb.-ft of torque! The 3.5L V6 engine will roar down every lane, blitzing from 0 to 60 miles-per-hour in a mere 4.2 seconds.

Are you as impressed as we are?

Hennessey - famed for its aftermarket models - has revitalized the Raptor, fusing it with dual turbochargers and an enhanced intercooler. This improves the overall power output, allowing the truck to blast past 100 MPH during its quarter-mile stretch. A new sport-tuned suspension and massive 35-inch tires complete the effect, ensuring smooth responses on every track.

With the release of the 2017 F-150 Raptor, Ford is offering drivers the chance to decimate all records - and we can’t wait to test this pick-up for ourselves!

The 2018 Ford F-150 Will Deliver Diesel Power

Tags:
(Posted on Jan 19, 2017 at 12:56PM by Lee Byard)
Economy proves an unfamiliar word in the F-Series lexicon. White their massive frames and turbocharged powertrains, the F-150 and its siblings have never embraced efficiency - choosing instead to emphasize strength. It’s been a constant consumer compromise.

That compromise no longer proves necessary, however - because the F-150 is receiving a diesel upgrade.

According to Fox News, Ford will soon fuse its beloved F-150 with a diesel engine. The 2018 variant (which will arrive in the fall) will boast an available 3.0L PowerStroke V6, allowing it to deliver improved performance and fuel distribution. Though no official MPG ratios have been released, critics anticipate that this platform will greatly improve upon the current capabilities: 19 miles-per-gallon in the city and 26 miles-per-gallon on the highway. A minimum 10% enhancement is expected.

The promise of diesel power has drivers rallying at the pump. The Key West team knows, however, that all thoughts will eventually shift to towing - with every pick-up fan anxious over payload capabilities and heavy-duty responses. Allow us to ease those anxieties. The 2018 F-150 will feature more than 12,200 pounds of trailering, generating best-in-class results for B.C. and beyond.

Exceptional performance will soon combine with exceptional value. We can’t wait!

Innovation has defined the decades. Since 1975 the Ford F-150 has served as the leading North American pick-up - embracing power, performance, and strength with every generation. It’s continually redefined the market, adapting to every mile; and its quest to Go Further is never-ending.

It comes as no surprise, therefore, that Ford has just premiered the latest F-Series advancement - introducing drivers to the 2018 F-150.

According to AutoBlog, the 2018 F-150 has finally been revealed (after months of hazy spy-shots and unconfirmed rumors, with pick-up fans clumsily piecing together specs). This platform features a series of enhancements, with Ford bolstering both its exterior and engine capabilities.

A 3.6L PowerStroke V6 engine now anchors the truck, delivering diesel efficiency and best-in-class towing (12,200 pounds). This pairs with a new 10-speed automatic transmission to ensure precise handling on even the roughest roads - while standardized Auto Start/Stop technology optimizes every mile, yielding up to 29 MPGs. This ensures superior economy for every adventure.

The new F-150 also boasts dynamic styling, with Ford fusing its fascia with an elongated wheelbase and a wide-fendered profile. This creates a more aggressive, heavy-duty design - which is then perfectly complemented by the new grille and integrated LED headlamps. This platform is engineered to impress.

We certainly think it succeeds, with our team already hurrying to make room on the Key West Ford lot. We’re ready for the latest F-Series powerhouse.
