Professional service and a good purchasing experience

I had an excellent experience dealing with Robert Antoniak on my recent F150 purchase. After my initial test drive, I took some time to think about the purchase. Robert followed up with me but was not at all "pushy" which is something I value when dealing with a seller. I found him friendly and very easy to deal with. Robert really knows his products and had an answer for every question I had. I would recommend Robert and Key West Ford to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. I also had an excellent experience setting up my financing with Michelle Kellough. Michelle went through all of the options and set me up with a finance plan that worked perfectly for me. Michelle is also very friendly and professional and I was quite happy with the service.

Robert Antoniak was professional, courteous, and answered all of my questions honestly. After having researched a few suitable vehicles on AutoTrader, I found a great car at Key West. Robert was eager to have me test-drive the vehicle, and I walked out with new (lightly used) car that afternoon. Very pleased with my purchase. Thanks to Michelle too!

Easy, breezy and pleasant experience re purchase of a 201...

Nothing but praise for the car; the service and the dealership and its culture. I have never had so painless and enjoyable experience at purchasing a car. Typically, it has been a somewhat anxiety-laden, somewhat pressured experience. Utterly different at Key West. Best experience ever in a car dealership. This will sound odd, but they seemed like friends. JDF and ALA - New West

I came to Key West Ford looking at a very specific vehicle, hoping to trade out of a sedan into a small SUV. Ian was the sales guy on deck, and was very friendly and helpful. He understood that although a deal was possible, it wasn't guaranteed as I had appointments to see other vehicles. We test drove the vehicle I was there to see (2017 Nissan Rogue), and he was very patient with the bad traffic on a Friday afternoon. He wasn't pushy or in a rush to get out of the car. We talked trade in potential on my old car, and about a possibility of a deal. I reviewed what he offered, and said I'd keep him in mind as I finished my other test drives. Once those were done the next day, I selected the Key West Rogue as my car of choice. Ian was kind enough to come in on his Saturday off to help secure the offer he'd made me the day before, prepare the paperwork, and walk me through the process. I was never left alone, and never felt lost in the shuffle. He also went to work scrambling to find me replacement floor mats (which had gone missing from the car) and a gas card to make up for the partially emptied tank. It's worth mentioning too, every other employee I dealt with - every single one - was friendly. Whether it was another sales person taking two seconds to tell me where Ian was, the ladies at the front desk giving me directions, or dealing with the finance (Michelle was also awesome!), I didn't meet a single person at Key West that gave me a bad feeling. Ian was a pro - dealt well, listened well, showed patience in asking for and landing the deal, and made me feel valued as a customer before moving on to any other business. I had a great experience dealing with him, and would do so again. This has been the easiest car purchase I've ever made. Thanks Ian!

Thanks Allan for helping me find my next family vehicle.

I came in to the dealership looking to move up from a five seater sedan into a 7 seater SUV. Allan greeted me shortly after arriving and I let him know what I was looking for. I'm glad I didn't have to search all over for someone to help me like I've run in to at a few other dealerships. He fought through the cold weather to show me vehicle after vehicle till we found one that worked. We didn't end up doing the deal that day since it was a little more than what I had budgeted. Allan being the great guy that he is, called me a couple days later to let me know of more options that would be available for me from a new shipment that was coming in. I was happy that he kept working to help me well after I had left that day. Not every sales guy would go above and beyond like that. That's why I think he deserves 5 stars. The dealership did a great job making their vehicles available and did a fantastic detailing job on the slighty used vehicle that i purchased. I would have given Key West Ford 5 stars but I only received a half tank of gas when I left. I figured after giving them tens of thousands of dollars in business a full tank would have left a nice impression on their customer. It would have been completely empty if it wasn't for Allan seeing it before I left and he was quick to get it up to at least half for me. Overall a pretty good experience.

October proved to be a month of generosity - with the We Scare Hunger event urging students to collect donations for their communities. Boxes were filled; spare dollars were stuffed into envelopes; and well-wishes were sent. It was a time of goodwill for all.

Key West Ford is now proud to reward this compassion - naming Fraser River Middle School as the winner of our We Scare Hunger initiative!

Led by teacher Tanya Kaselj, students from Fraser River managed to fill an astounding 14 boxes - the most from any participating school! Their efforts bolstered pantries for local charities, as well as provided hope for the holidays; and, because of this, our team is pleased to award them with movie passes and $1000 for their classroom!

We also wish to extend our thanks to other participating divisions - including the SR Varsity Hyacks, the Richard McBride Elementary School, and the Queensborough Middle School. Your amazing efforts led to 153 total donation boxes and will help to counter hunger in New Westminster.

Key West Ford was humbled by the response to our We Scare Hunger event - and we offer gratitude to those who participated. You all made October truly unforgettable.

we scare hunger food donations vancouver bcOctober has come to an end... but its goodwill remains, found in classrooms across New Westminster. During the We Scare Hunger initiative, we asked students to join us in the fight for nutrition - urging them to donate both their time and energy to a worthy cause. The response was immense, with schools soon filling boxes with much-needed goods.

Among those who participated were the students of Queensborough Middle School. These generous boys and girls helped to battle hunger in our community, delivering donations and compassion throughout the month. We thank them for their kindness and suggest that our customers check out the We Scare Hunger gallery - which features photos of the students’ campaign posters.

We also urge them to continue the fight for change. Though the We Scare Hunger program has ended, local food banks and charity organizations still need help - with the holiday season soon to tax their limited resources. Please consider offering further donations. The most needed items remain:

Canned Vegetables.
Nuts and Seeds.
Powdered Skim Milk.
Whole Wheat Pasta.
Canned Meats (including Chicken, Turkey, or Fish).
Natural Peanut Butter.

Thank you all who supported the We Scare Hunger program. Your efforts were greatly appreciated!

Throughout October we’ve had one goal: to counter hunger in New Westminster. Every day we’ve collected both canned goods and financial donations - gathering them in our showroom in neat little stacks. The weeks have been spent in quiet preparation, with our team readying for the arrival of Halloween. With this holiday, we knew, would come a journey to local food banks.

Join us as We Scare Hunger comes to an end!

Today marks the conclusion of the We Scare Hunger event. For the last four weeks, we’ve encouraged our customers to participate in B.C.’s most important initiative - collecting donations for local organizations. We’ve filled boxes with food and hope; and we’ve been humbled by the outpouring we’ve received from our friends and neighbors. Thanks to your efforts, our community will receive the support it needs.

It’s not too late, however, to add yet another canned good to the pile. Please consider bringing further donations to our showroom before the end of the day (9:00 p.m.) to help us make the We Scare Hunger event a true success.

Halloween is fast approaching - and across New Westminster families are tossing cobwebs and pumpkin seeds across their lawns, stacking plastic skeletons in frightening little rows. This will be a holiday of much celebration.

Key West Ford knows, however, that not all of our neighbors will join in the revelry. Instead they’ll face the sad truth of bare tables. This is why we urge our customers to help us provide hope this Halloween. Join the We Scare Hunger movement!

On October 31st We Scare Hunger will conclude - with all donations distributed among local food banks. Let’s try to make these final two days extraordinary, therefore. Please bring canned goods to our showroom, helping our team fill our remaining boxes. Among the items most needed are:

Canned Fish, Chicken, or Turkey.
Canned Black Beans, Chickpeas, or Kidney Beans.
Nuts and Seeds.
Natural Peanut Butter.
Brown Rice, Barley, or Whole Wheat Pasta.
Powdered Skim Milk.
Canned Vegetables.
Stews.

Spare a few donations this holiday season and change the lives of families in need. We Scare Hunger directly impacts our community - providing local men, women, and children with both food and hope.

The year is coming to an end. Across New Westminster families gather - preparing for the winter festivities and impending resolutions. It’s a series of holidays and happy times, with good food shared around the table.

Key West Ford knows that our customers gather together in October, sharing spooky tales and chocolate-covered confections. In between the festivities, however, we hope that they’ll spare a thought for those in need. Please donate to the We Scare Hunger initiative.
