Professional service and a good purchasing experience

I had an excellent experience dealing with Robert Antoniak on my recent F150 purchase. After my initial test drive, I took some time to think about the purchase. Robert followed up with me but was not at all "pushy" which is something I value when dealing with a seller. I found him friendly and very easy to deal with. Robert really knows his products and had an answer for every question I had. I would recommend Robert and Key West Ford to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. I also had an excellent experience setting up my financing with Michelle Kellough. Michelle went through all of the options and set me up with a finance plan that worked perfectly for me. Michelle is also very friendly and professional and I was quite happy with the service.

Very Happy With My Purchase

Robert Antoniak was professional, courteous, and answered all of my questions honestly. After having researched a few suitable vehicles on AutoTrader, I found a great car at Key West. Robert was eager to have me test-drive the vehicle, and I walked out with new (lightly used) car that afternoon. Very pleased with my purchase. Thanks to Michelle too!

Easy, breezy and pleasant experience re purchase of a 201...

Nothing but praise for the car; the service and the dealership and its culture. I have never had so painless and enjoyable experience at purchasing a car. Typically, it has been a somewhat anxiety-laden, somewhat pressured experience. Utterly different at Key West. Best experience ever in a car dealership. This will sound odd, but they seemed like friends. JDF and ALA - New West

First time working with Key West - really enjoyed it

I came to Key West Ford looking at a very specific vehicle, hoping to trade out of a sedan into a small SUV. Ian was the sales guy on deck, and was very friendly and helpful. He understood that although a deal was possible, it wasn't guaranteed as I had appointments to see other vehicles. We test drove the vehicle I was there to see (2017 Nissan Rogue), and he was very patient with the bad traffic on a Friday afternoon. He wasn't pushy or in a rush to get out of the car. We talked trade in potential on my old car, and about a possibility of a deal. I reviewed what he offered, and said I'd keep him in mind as I finished my other test drives. Once those were done the next day, I selected the Key West Rogue as my car of choice. Ian was kind enough to come in on his Saturday off to help secure the offer he'd made me the day before, prepare the paperwork, and walk me through the process. I was never left alone, and never felt lost in the shuffle. He also went to work scrambling to find me replacement floor mats (which had gone missing from the car) and a gas card to make up for the partially emptied tank. It's worth mentioning too, every other employee I dealt with - every single one - was friendly. Whether it was another sales person taking two seconds to tell me where Ian was, the ladies at the front desk giving me directions, or dealing with the finance (Michelle was also awesome!), I didn't meet a single person at Key West that gave me a bad feeling. Ian was a pro - dealt well, listened well, showed patience in asking for and landing the deal, and made me feel valued as a customer before moving on to any other business. I had a great experience dealing with him, and would do so again. This has been the easiest car purchase I've ever made. Thanks Ian!

Thanks Allan for helping me find my next family vehicle.

I came in to the dealership looking to move up from a five seater sedan into a 7 seater SUV. Allan greeted me shortly after arriving and I let him know what I was looking for. I'm glad I didn't have to search all over for someone to help me like I've run in to at a few other dealerships. He fought through the cold weather to show me vehicle after vehicle till we found one that worked. We didn't end up doing the deal that day since it was a little more than what I had budgeted. Allan being the great guy that he is, called me a couple days later to let me know of more options that would be available for me from a new shipment that was coming in. I was happy that he kept working to help me well after I had left that day. Not every sales guy would go above and beyond like that. That's why I think he deserves 5 stars. The dealership did a great job making their vehicles available and did a fantastic detailing job on the slighty used vehicle that i purchased. I would have given Key West Ford 5 stars but I only received a half tank of gas when I left. I figured after giving them tens of thousands of dollars in business a full tank would have left a nice impression on their customer. It would have been completely empty if it wasn't for Allan seeing it before I left and he was quick to get it up to at least half for me. Overall a pretty good experience.

Speed is no longer a luxury. It’s instead a right - with Ford delivering a class-shattering experience to the Lower Mainland. As the 2018 Mustang gallops its way toward dealerships, drivers are discovering that fastback is far more than name.

According to Fox News, the new Mustang boasts a 5.2L V8. This beastly powerpoint utilizes direct-injection technology and multi-port capability to generate 460 HP. Its RPM ratio soars to 7,800 and its free-flowing intake system ensures superior responses. What should most delight B.C. drivers, however, is the inclusion of Ford’s exclusive Drag Mode.

Fox News explains that this function - which is available on the GT and GT350 variants - allows the Mustang to blitz down the the road. It pairs Launch Control technology with a custom gear shift cycle, enabling the engine to experience greater torque (up to 420 lb.-ft). This creates a burst of speed and lets the platform surge from 0 to 60 in less than four seconds. The acceleration is smooth, fluid, and undeniably fun.

Want to test it out? Visit our dealership today to learn more about the 2018 Mustang and its available Drag Mode technology.

Another day, another long-suffering sigh - with Ranger fans staring mournfully at their calendars, willing the year to end. Ford has promised to offer a new generation of pick-up performance in 2018, and drivers across North America are counting the days until the mid-size market is changed.

Key West Ford shares their impatience - especially as critics predict a powerhouse engine for the 2019 Ranger.

According to The Drive, Ford may fuse the Ranger with a 2.3L EcoBoost four-cylinder engine. This news was, at first, met with disdain among consumers - with all of them craving V8 performance or V6 speeds. Critics are quick to note, however, that this powertrain could prove mighty on the highway, with output ratios estimated to reach 310 HP and 320 lb.-ft of torque.

This would allow the Ranger to crush the competition (for example, the 2017 Chevrolet Colorado only yields 308 HP and 275 lb.-ft of torque), utilizing turbocharged capability to rev down the road. The EcoBoost engine - which is currently available on the Mustang - would be an ideal option for work or play.

Ford has yet to confirm any Ranger specs - but The Drive team anticipates the inclusion of this four-cylinder beast  (along with a 10-speed automatic transmission and Intelligent AWD) when the truck arrives next fall. We can't wait.

Go Further, Ford urges - and these words prove more than a pithy slogan. With the release of the 2017 F-150, the Big Blue Oval (once again) redefined the pick-up market and pushed itself beyond all sales expectations.

It also crushed all Wall Street doubts.

According to CNBC, financial analysts volleyed bleak predictions at Ford this year - speculating that its second-quarter would fail and its market shares would tumble. As July comes to a close, however, these concerns have been shoved aside. North America’s leading automotive brand remains an undeniable force on the charts.

CNBC explains that Ford has generated a massive $39.9 billion revenue for 2017 - $2 billion more than anticipated. Its Wall Street prices have soared from 43-cents to 56-cents, and its profits (after taxes) exceed $600 million. How did it accomplish such a feat?

The 2017 F-150 connected with consumers across the globe.

The F-Series has remained a sales champion for more than 40 years, and the latest F-150 has continued this tradition. This platform - with its 12,000-pound towing capacity and available 5.0L V8 engine - provides drivers with best-in-class performance. It’s an all-terrain beast, delivering up to 450 HP and 510 lb.-ft of torque. It has no equal.

This has led to a 7% increase in Ford’s overall sales... and a surge of Wall Street success.

Ford Will Soon Debut F-150 Police Truck

The next-generation of police protection has arrived - with Ford delivering a new pursuit and retrieval platform to North America. No longer will those dusty back-roads prove too challenging for officers (with their low-bodied cruisers unable to endure the rough-and-tumble miles). Instead F-Series performance will ensure greater efficiency and improved protection.

The 2017 F-150 FXR is coming.

According to WNEP, Ford is partnering with precincts across both the United States and Canada - offering them access to the 2017 FXR. This F-150 will provide much-needed performance in rural areas, with its turbocharged 3.5L V6 engine yielding 375 HP and its AWD ensuring all-terrain capability. A front stabilizer bar will combat every rut in the road, while sport-calibrated brakes will promote precision. All of this will pair with a 100 MPH top-speed ratio (which the truck can maintain for extended periods of times).

Through this, the 2017 FXR can deftly respond to all investigations - allowing officers to pursue both leads and suspects across any environment. Stability and power are now guaranteed.

No official production date has been given for the new F-150 police responder. We anticipate to see this vehicle in B.C., however, before the end of 2018.

There’s a monster on the highway - a snarling V8 beast with a line-lock growl. It prowls down B.C., its RWD teeth tearing up the pavement; and its 10-speed automatic transmission lets it blitz toward its prey, conquering every corner with hunter-like precision. This is the 2018 Ford Mustang and it’s perfectly savage.

Drivers may, therefore, be surprised to see it paired with such a sweet campaign.

According to CNET, Ford is celebrating its 2018 Mustang in true summer fashion - helping drivers beat the heat with ice cream. A fun flavor (Orange Fury) has been released in both California and New York. This treat, which draws inspiration from the pony-car’s latest color addition, offers soft-serve goodness, pairing two vanilla cookies with a massive scoop of sherbet. An edible potato wrapper surrounds the entire snack for extra texture.

With every bite, Orange Fury ice cream leaves drivers impressed - just like its namesake, the 2018 Mustang. This pony-car (which is scheduled for an early fall arrival) promises exceptional performance, with a 5.0L Coyote V8 nestled beneath its hood. This should deliver best-in-class speeds, with critics anticipating HP ratios of more than 435.

That’s certainly worth another scoop.

Can perfection be improved? This is the question that drives Ford, with its engineers seeking to (once again) elevate the F-150 Raptor. Though this model has proven a staggering success in 2017, the Big Blue Oval is already looking toward the future - wanting to push the pick-up boundaries and Go Further.

We think this won’t be an issue.

Four Wheeler has just revealed the first spy shots of the 2018 F-150 Raptor - proving that Ford is ready to conquer the mid-duty market once more. Though camouflaged, this platform still revealed a bold new look for next year, which will include:

Custom Badging - Raptor appliqués will now be found along the rear, adding a burst of contrasting chrome.

Revised Tailgate - Ford has re-sculpted the gate, creating a leaner profile and enlarging the surrounding LED lights.

Lengthened Body - A longer wheelbase gives the new F-150 a muscular appearance, while rocker moldings showcase the newly revised rear.

Each of these elements lends a sporty look to the 2018 Raptor, helping to further separate it from the competition. This V6 platform should prove popular when it arrives in the Lower Mainland.

It’s a comparison of prices - with the Key West Ford team seeking budget-friendly flights, needing to venture Down Under for the hot hatch experience of a lifetime. The 2018 Fiesta ST has debuted in Australia.... and we’re trying to decide whether we can make the trip to snag a peek.

We know our customers will understand. After all, this is a platform like no other - with Practical Motoring revealing a tantalizing list of specs. The 2018 Fiesta ST promises incredible rally performance, boasting:

A 1.0L Turbocharged Three-Cylinder Engine.
A Six-Speed Manual Transmission.
A Robust Front-Wheel-Drivetrain.
An Aggressive Hatchback Profile (160-inches long, 58-inches high).

Ford has redefined the compact market, with its new ST generating 138 HP and 132 lb.-ft of torque. A sharp turning circle (10.05-meters) allows for fluid handling, while the lightweight frame (2566-pounds) enables drivers to fly down the track. A sport-tuned suspension completes the powertrain, promising peerless responses on every terrain.

Want to join us in Australia? We’ll save you a seat!

No official release date for the 2018 Fiesta ST has been provided. We have our fingers crossed, however, that Ford will soon bring this platform to the Lower Mainland.

The compromise proves old as time - with automotive engineers weighing the values of power and efficiency, choosing to trade one for the other. These elements can’t, it’s argued, exist within the same car. It’s simply impossible.

The 2017 Escape Titanium turns that impossibility into a much sweeter reality.

According to the Mount Desert Islander, Ford has crafted an SUV like no other - with its 2017 Escape Titanium demanding no driver sacrifices. This platform boasts a 2.0L twin-scroll four-cylinder engine, pairing turbocharged performance with a six-speed automatic transmission. This yields an impressive 245 HP; and, when coupled with the available AWD, it promises easy all-terrain adventures.

These adventures won’t require constant visits to the pump, however. The Mount Desert Islander notes that the Escape embraces economy, generating a class-leading 20 MPGs in the city and 27 MPGs on the highway. It achieves this through EcoBoost technology and direct-injection distribution, which maximizes all resources. No drop of fuel is wasted.

Through this, the 2017 Escape Titanium enables drivers to seek out every road - providing them with high-performance and undeniable value.

The 2017 F-150 Raptor proves perfectly named - with this bird of prey poised to take flight above the Wisconsin sky. Prepare for the arrival of the F-22!

Automobile Magazine has just reported that Ford is gearing up for a new kind of driving experience - with its 2017 Raptor receiving an aviation-inspired upgrade. To raise awareness for the Experimental Aircraft Association (a youth organization that encourages recreational flying activities, as well as science and engineering), the Big Blue Oval will debut the F-22. This pick-up will be sold at auction to garner both interest and donations.

It should also garner praise.

As Automobile Magazine explains, the F-150 F-22 is a beautifully crafted beast. Boasting a twin-turbo 3.5L engine (as well as a Whipple intercooler), it earns 545 HP. A sport-tuned suspension allows for peerless all-terrain handling, while the carbon fiber body ensures a lightweight chassis. Brembo brakes, EcoBoost technology, and selectable-effort steering combine to create a smooth ride. This is a perfect addition to the F-Series family.

Want to add it to your Ford collection? The F-22 will rev onto the Gathering of the Eagles’ stage on July 27th. Pack your bags and head to Wisconsin to secure a sneak-peek.

The months are tedious - with an entire summer stretched between drivers and the performance they crave, long days of slow speeds and empty dealerships. Ford won’t premiere its 2018 Mustang EcoBoost until the fall; and this leaves the entire Lower Mainland watching as the seconds crawl by.

Allow Key West Ford to provide a more interesting view - one of EcoBoost specs!

According to Auto Week, the 2018 Mustang EcoBoost should prove a best-in-class contender. This platform (which should maintain the efficiency standards drivers expect, delivering an estimated 21 MPGs in the city and 30 MPGs on the highway) is primed for the track, with its 19-inch wheels taking advantage of:

A Sport-Tuned Suspension.
An Enhanced Rear Sway Bar
An Enlarged Radiator.
A New Electronic Stability and Traction Control System.

Each of these features promises exceptional performance, allowing the 2018 Mustang EcoBoost to sail down the circuit. Available six-piston calipers and heavy-duty front springs will further improve power, providing smooth cornering with every press of the pedal. This will be the pony-car for a new generation.

Excited? We are!

The 2018 Mustang EcoBoost will arrive in the early fall. Be sure to visit the Key West lot at the first sign of hoof-beats.
