I was extremely happy with most of the folks I spoke with during my time at Key West. It took me 3 days of visiting the dealership to make sure I was making the right decision on the vehicle for my needs and my budget. All staff but one understood that this purchase wasn't an easy one to make within my budget. Peter Olsen, Michael Nokes and Robert Klaus really understood why I needed to take my time and research all my options. I appreciated their kindness and patience and didn't feel at all pressured into the sale.
Helpful and honest dealers. Car was well inspected and in advertised good condition. Overall the service was good and the sale was fair. Dean was great!
I saw an ad for a F350 at the lot. The truck was not on the lot due to construction. It took a day to get the truck so I could see it. I made a deal and drove it away that afternoon. Happy with the vehicle. Sales person was new to Key West and lacked knowledge of all the options on the truck.
Over and above
They were great. They did everything in their power to help us. They really know there stuff. They took the time to explain everything and answer all if our questions. They really want to make that we got everything we needed and more.
Honest and Trustworthy Dealership
There were a few hiccups that came along with our purchase of a pre-owned vehicle but I was impressed with how much effort was taken to remedy the situation and make sure we were feeling great about our purchase. The dealership really went above and beyond to get us in a vehicle that was safe and good quality!
Jeff was very attentive both on-site and through follow-up calls, addressing concerns, and doing everything in his power to remedy the situation. I would highly recommend working with Jeff who was easy going, enthusiastic, and kept the process very simple.
In the end, we are very happy with our new (to us!) vehicle and I'm glad we went through this journey with Key West Ford and Jeff.
This was one of the best experiences I have had at a dealership. Thanks to Jag, Nick, and Mike for their help getting me into a great vehicle.
Got my dream car with a very good deal
One of my best experience ever, staff is so kind , also deals are awesome. They helps me a lot to get my dream car within my budget. Big thanks to peter olson.
Honest and a pleasure to wok with.
I bought a used truck which needed a bit of service. Key West Ford did not hesitate to insure the truck lived up to what they promised.
Efficient and Courteous!
I moved to Vancouver from Toronto and was in need of a truck. Pete was able to source one that I was looking for from Alberta and had it delivered quickly and was very communicative in terms of delivery status throughout. He was even kind enough to send me some recommendations for places to go around New West with me being new to the area. Thanks Pete!

A new year has begun, but December’s cold conditions are still raging on. Drivers find themselves yet again under siege by snow, sleet and slush - and too often do they also find themselves skidding across the roads, their summer tires losing traction and their engines unable to compensate for the sudden spirals. Accidents are common and unfortunate.
They’re also preventable with the proper tires.
Key West Ford wants all drivers to be safe in 2014. This is why we strongly encourage the use of winter tires.
Winter tires, as their name suggests, are intended for the snowy season. Advanced treading effortlessly powers through ice, while innovative sipes guide vehicles with intense suction. Rubber casings prove supple in harsh weather and adapt to extreme temperatures - up to -7 degrees Celsius, according to the Traffic Industry Research Foundation - with ease.
Summer tires, and even all-weather tires, do not.
These options instead falter on wet roads. Their weak materials turn brittle in the cold, and their uneven treads directly impact even the most sophisticated Ford stability functions. They offer no control and no support - and this causes countless accidents each year.
Some drivers argue against the need for winter tires, claiming them to be too expensive and too tedious to mount. Key West Ford can counter both of these points, however: it’s far more expensive to pay for car repairs and our service department will provide the necessary installation. There is no reason to choose inadequate tires this January.

Achieve 360 HP with support from a 6-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drivetrain. Conquer every winter wonderland with ABS disc technology, stability control systems, electronic traction and more. The 2013 F150 is as adaptable as it is adept.
Not sure if the F150 is the right holiday choice? Key West Ford will extend the leasing terms to the FX4, the Lariat or the Platinum. Drive toward a new year in style!
New Westminster finds itself once again at the mercy of winter. Temperatures are steadily decreasing as precipitation is steadily increasing, and the result is a wet and wicked season for drivers.
As this winter trudges on many Ford owners may find themselves staying inside. This is a wise decision - unless their cars pay the price.
Car maintenance is a challenge in the best conditions but, as Key West Ford reminds you, it’s a challenge you can’t avoid - especially now. Snow, sleet and ice will wreak havoc on any engine. Frequent check-ups are, therefore, essential.
Trek out to the garage and keep these maintenance tips in mind:
Inspect all lights and bulbs.
Check oil levels and filters.
Replace any damaged air, fuel or PCV filters.
Examine the exhaust system for leaks or cracks (this is especially important during the winter, when drivers are more likely to leave their vehicles running in enclosed spaces. Carbon can quickly build if a system is faulty).
Check tires for wear or tears.
Test heating system.
Flush cooling system.
Examine windshield blades for dull edges.
These simple suggestions will help your car’s performance this season - especially when coupled with a comprehensive inspection from Key West Ford’s service department. Contact us today to learn more about winter maintenance and how to best protect your vehicle.
Winter comes roaring in, pounding roads with snow and sleet. Vehicles - no matter how carefully maintained, no matter how slowly driven - fail. And a simple trip out of town becomes a whirl of ice and treading.
Key West Ford wants you to be safe this season - and that requires more than just having your car inspected. You must instead have a preparedness kit.
A preparedness kit is, as the name implies, a way to prepare for possible situations. It offers a collection of necessary, but often overlooked, items that can help individuals who’ve been in accidents. Key West Ford recommends that its drivers all carry:
Non-perishable food items
A collapsible shovel
First Aid supplies
Spare mechanics (including jumper cables, tires plugs, locking pliers, an adjustable wrench and wire cutters)
These items are essential in an emergency. Key West Ford strongly urges drivers to have them at all times. They will not prevent accidents, but they can prevent further complications. Stay safe.
When the all-season tire was introduced it sent a wave of relief through drivers. They no longer had to deal with complicated chains and treads. They no longer had to replace bolts and axles. Instead their vehicles could transition from day to day, withstanding even the worst Winter weather.
This was a nice thought.
It wasn’t, however, a reality.
All-season tires are not acceptable for New Westminster drivers. They lack the needed traction and reduce overall car efficiency. Braking, handling and acceleration are all affected by tires - and, without the proper treads, vehicles can fumble through Winter. Sliding, skidding and spin-outs are almost guaranteed.
Key West Ford urges you to consider winter tires, therefore. These options are designed to withstand brutal conditions. Their unique shapes reduce snow build-up, remain flexible and have aggressive treads that effortlessly cut through sleet and slush.
All-season tires don’t.
Contact Key West Ford this Winter to choose the right tires for your vehicle. Don't risk an all-season accident.
Key West Ford is joining the fight against hunger, and we hope our community will do the same.
We’re currently hosting a drive to benefit the Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society (GVFBS), a non-profit organization dedicated to aiding families in need. This program provides food to individuals throughout Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster and North Vancouver. It also offers access to health specialists and information.
Key West Ford believes in the power of the GVFSB, which is why we now ask our customers to donate food products for the New Westminster branch. We’re looking for canned proteins, canned fruits or vegetables, low sugar cereals, boxes of pasta or rice, baby formula and other non-perishables. Homemade products, opened products or products that contain alcohol will not be accepted.
Bring all donations to the Key West Ford dealership to help local families.
Contact Key West Ford with any questions about the food drive.
This is why we’re now hosting a toy drive for the New Westminster Family Place. This vital community program allows children to express themselves through art, music, games and more. It offers a dynamic environment, fostering social skills under the guise of playing.
New Westminster Family Place also provides exceptional support for parents and grandparents. It offers library resources, access to childcare and healthcare specialists, donation programs and more. It strives to bring families together.
Key West Ford appreciates this, which is why we now ask our community to participate in a toy drive. Bring new or like-new toys to our dealership. Books, blocks, stuffed animals and more are welcomed (though please note that the Family Place is intended for newborns and toddlers. All donations should be age-appropriate).
These gifts will make a great difference for the upcoming holiday season. Contact Key West Ford with any questions or suggestions.
Key West Ford was deeply saddened by the effects of Typhoon Haiyan. The struggles of the Filipino people - with over 600,000 left without food, shelter or medical supplies - grieves us and the rest of New Westminster.
We ask now that our community gather together to help.
Key West Ford is hosting a clothing drive. Items of good quality - without tears, stains or frayed seaming - should be delivered to the dealership, where they will then be prepared for transport to the Philippines. Shirts, pants and even shoes are requested (please note, however, that this is a humid climate. Cold-weather options are not recommended).
We hope that all New Westminster citizens will band together to provide some relief to the Philippines.
