I was extremely happy with most of the folks I spoke with during my time at Key West. It took me 3 days of visiting the dealership to make sure I was making the right decision on the vehicle for my needs and my budget. All staff but one understood that this purchase wasn't an easy one to make within my budget. Peter Olsen, Michael Nokes and Robert Klaus really understood why I needed to take my time and research all my options. I appreciated their kindness and patience and didn't feel at all pressured into the sale.
Helpful and honest dealers. Car was well inspected and in advertised good condition. Overall the service was good and the sale was fair. Dean was great!
I saw an ad for a F350 at the lot. The truck was not on the lot due to construction. It took a day to get the truck so I could see it. I made a deal and drove it away that afternoon. Happy with the vehicle. Sales person was new to Key West and lacked knowledge of all the options on the truck.
Over and above
They were great. They did everything in their power to help us. They really know there stuff. They took the time to explain everything and answer all if our questions. They really want to make that we got everything we needed and more.
Honest and Trustworthy Dealership
There were a few hiccups that came along with our purchase of a pre-owned vehicle but I was impressed with how much effort was taken to remedy the situation and make sure we were feeling great about our purchase. The dealership really went above and beyond to get us in a vehicle that was safe and good quality!
Jeff was very attentive both on-site and through follow-up calls, addressing concerns, and doing everything in his power to remedy the situation. I would highly recommend working with Jeff who was easy going, enthusiastic, and kept the process very simple.
In the end, we are very happy with our new (to us!) vehicle and I'm glad we went through this journey with Key West Ford and Jeff.
This was one of the best experiences I have had at a dealership. Thanks to Jag, Nick, and Mike for their help getting me into a great vehicle.
Got my dream car with a very good deal
One of my best experience ever, staff is so kind , also deals are awesome. They helps me a lot to get my dream car within my budget. Big thanks to peter olson.
Honest and a pleasure to wok with.
I bought a used truck which needed a bit of service. Key West Ford did not hesitate to insure the truck lived up to what they promised.
Efficient and Courteous!
I moved to Vancouver from Toronto and was in need of a truck. Pete was able to source one that I was looking for from Alberta and had it delivered quickly and was very communicative in terms of delivery status throughout. He was even kind enough to send me some recommendations for places to go around New West with me being new to the area. Thanks Pete!

Dark nights call for bright lights - unless the fog comes rolling in. Key West Ford reminds drivers of the dangers of using high beams this fall.
Mist clings to the road, creating a wall of blurred vision and deceptive shadows. It becomes difficult to map out the twists and turns, and many drivers flip on their high beams to compensate.
This is a mistake. High beams reflect the fog, rather than cutting through it. They intensify the appearance of moisture droplets and drastically reduce overall visibility. This can lead to collisions, which can then lead to extensive - and expensive - repairs.
Use low beams, therefore, to avoid this problem. Switch all light settings, creating a centralized swath that focuses on the road’s surface. This will lessen the glare and help to highlight upcoming corners, guardrails or signs - and this makes the road a far safer place to be.
Key West Ford urges our customers to have their low beams checked this fall. Have them inspected for any signs of wear or flickering, and be sure to visit our Service Department if any repairs are needed.
Don’t face the fog without the proper protection. Use low beams this season.
Throughout the world drivers have rejoiced at the arrival of the 2015 Ford Mustang. Its high-octane design has fueled their racing dreams, leading them to the nearest dealerships to sign the dotted line.
Some drivers, however, want something... more. They have a need for speed that can’t be ignored and the 2015 Mustang isn’t enough to quench it.
This limited edition pony-car will blend extraordinary power (717 HP with a blistering acceleration of 0 to 60 MPH in just 3.6 seconds) with exceptional style. It will boast a carbon fiber body, with Brembo rotors and side sills giving it a modern look. This, along with bold slashes of red and black, will create a hard-top that is as unforgettable as it is fast.
And it’s coming in 2016!
As of 2014 500 GT Hennesseys have been ordered. These numbers may increase, however, if consumer demand proves high - and Key West Ford expects that it will. This is certain to be a spectacular car on the track and the road.

It’s a familiar struggle: shoving a too-large item into a too-small pick-up cab, squeezing it between the door and the backseat. You push; you pull; you end up red-faced and exhausted, with your latest treasure hanging halfway out of the truck.
Ford understands this scenario all too well, which is why the 2015 F-150 has been designed to avoid it.
Key West Ford is excited to announce that the 2015 F-150 features a 170-degree backdoor design. Freed of their previous B-pillar constructions (which had centralized poles latched the the floor panels), both doors now swing wide. This greatly increases the amount of space between the seat and the glass, allowing items to slide in more efficiently. An extended cab and updated cargo-box are also available, allowing drivers to take advantage of every inch.
And won’t that make the road far easier to handle?
The 2015 F-150 is transforming the pick-up market with innovative features and driver-friendly designs. To learn more about its 170-degree doors contact Key West Ford.

Key West Ford was proud to participate in this year’s Cops For Cancer. We, along with some of our customers, donated to Constable Jeff Russell during the Tour de Coast segment of the event. We remind readers, however, that the rides aren’t over yet.
Throughout October Cops For Cancer will continue, offering more opportunities for donations and awareness. Key West Ford encourages New Westminster drivers to become involved, helping to support a worthy cause and fight against pediatric cancer.

Despite their roaring power and high-intake capabilities, engines are remarkably sensitive. The slightest shift in temperature can weaken them, causing faulty starts and morning sputters.
Key West Ford wants drivers to avoid this fate - which is why we recommend using a synthetic engine oil this fall.
Synthetic oils are ideal for the season. They’re intended to strengthen the performance and efficiency of engines, helping to create steady fluid flows. Their lightweight formulas resist the usual clogs and congealments, and they even decrease the overall drag for better HP levels and torque rates.
Key West Ford suggests that drivers add these oils to their maintenance regimens, promoting better car care this fall.
In 1966 the Ford GT MK3 stunned the world with a victory at the prestigious Le Mans. It toppled the reign of the then-supreme Ferrari, earning a place in history as a premier Formula One racer.
In 2016 that legacy could be reborn - because Ford is considering a new GT MK3 for the North American market!
According to Car Magazine, the Ford GT may make another track appearance in 2016 to commemorate that record-breaking win. No details have currently been released about the model’s specifications, but many assume that a 3.5L twin-turbo engine and EcoBoost assistance will used. This could ensure a precise powerhouse, with the automaker able to dominate the racing circuit once again.
Insiders insist the the 2016 GT MK3 will be road-ready as well, allowing drivers to transition from the track to the highway. This is exciting news and Key West Ford hopes that it’s soon proven true!
The Ford F-150 has always been praised for its power and performance. The 2015 model, however, is gaining attention for a new cornerstone - driver safety.
The 2015 F-150 embraces more than aluminum framing. It also pays homage to the Transit and the Explorer, offering safety features previously seen only in SUVs. Ford has infused this vehicle with its most innovative options, creating a pick-up that is ready for any environment.
The new functions include:
A Blind-Spot Detection System
Curve Control Technology
Hill Descent Technology
Radar Cruise Control
Active Park Assistance
A Forward Collision Warning System
These elements weave throughout the F-150, helping to create precise steering and effortless handling. Drivers are promised a safe experience on every road - and that’s a promise Key West Ford appreciates.

Your tires are the first - and best - defense against collisions and crashes. They cling to the road, helping to stabilize your car and create a safe driving experience.
Inspecting them, therefore, is essential this October.
Shorter days and colder nights aren’t the only proof of fall. Damaged tires also signal the new season. As the temperatures change pressure levels dramatically rise and drop, creating unbalanced ratios. This leads to cracked rubber and ruined treads, with the tires unable to provide proper friction.
Worsening road conditions - such as rain or sleet - are also problematic. These can jar wheel alignments, undermining both the suspension system and the engine. Drivers will find themselves unable to control their cars and this can lead to tailspins, blowouts and more.
Don’t let this happen. Allow Key West Ford to check your tires instead.
Visit our Service Department for a comprehensive examination of treads, pressure levels and alignments. We’ll ensure that your vehicle is prepared for the season and its many challenges; and we’ll provide you with maintenance suggestions that will make the road less daunting.
