Professional service and a good purchasing experience
I had an excellent experience dealing with Robert Antoniak on my recent F150 purchase. After my initial test drive, I took some time to think about the purchase. Robert followed up with me but was not at all "pushy" which is something I value when dealing with a seller. I found him friendly and very easy to deal with. Robert really knows his products and had an answer for every question I had. I would recommend Robert and Key West Ford to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle.
I also had an excellent experience setting up my financing with Michelle Kellough. Michelle went through all of the options and set me up with a finance plan that worked perfectly for me. Michelle is also very friendly and professional and I was quite happy with the service.
Allan was extremely patient and professional with me , showing me the best match to my needs . I am really happy with my choice so I do recommend you ask for him.
Very Happy With My Purchase
Robert Antoniak was professional, courteous, and answered all of my questions honestly. After having researched a few suitable vehicles on AutoTrader, I found a great car at Key West. Robert was eager to have me test-drive the vehicle, and I walked out with new (lightly used) car that afternoon. Very pleased with my purchase. Thanks to Michelle too!
Easy, breezy and pleasant experience re purchase of a 201...
Nothing but praise for the car; the service and the dealership and its culture. I have never had so painless and enjoyable experience at purchasing a car. Typically, it has been a somewhat anxiety-laden, somewhat pressured experience. Utterly different at Key West. Best experience ever in a car dealership. This will sound odd, but they seemed like friends.

A very friendly and welcoming dealership!
This dealership was very friendly and welcoming. All the associates were very helpful. We selected a vehicle and left a deposit and returned the next day and drive away as very happy car owners! Definitely recommend key west ford to anyone looking into buying a new or used vehicle!
Found Allan and rest of ground very good to deal with. He wasn't pushing and prepared to what was needed to get the sale. thanks
First time working with Key West - really enjoyed it
I came to Key West Ford looking at a very specific vehicle, hoping to trade out of a sedan into a small SUV. Ian was the sales guy on deck, and was very friendly and helpful. He understood that although a deal was possible, it wasn't guaranteed as I had appointments to see other vehicles.
We test drove the vehicle I was there to see (2017 Nissan Rogue), and he was very patient with the bad traffic on a Friday afternoon. He wasn't pushy or in a rush to get out of the car. We talked trade in potential on my old car, and about a possibility of a deal. I reviewed what he offered, and said I'd keep him in mind as I finished my other test drives.
Once those were done the next day, I selected the Key West Rogue as my car of choice. Ian was kind enough to come in on his Saturday off to help secure the offer he'd made me the day before, prepare the paperwork, and walk me through the process. I was never left alone, and never felt lost in the shuffle.
He also went to work scrambling to find me replacement floor mats (which had gone missing from the car) and a gas card to make up for the partially emptied tank.
It's worth mentioning too, every other employee I dealt with - every single one - was friendly. Whether it was another sales person taking two seconds to tell me where Ian was, the ladies at the front desk giving me directions, or dealing with the finance (Michelle was also awesome!), I didn't meet a single person at Key West that gave me a bad feeling.
Ian was a pro - dealt well, listened well, showed patience in asking for and landing the deal, and made me feel valued as a customer before moving on to any other business. I had a great experience dealing with him, and would do so again.
This has been the easiest car purchase I've ever made. Thanks Ian!
Thanks Allan for helping me find my next family vehicle.
I came in to the dealership looking to move up from a five seater sedan into a 7 seater SUV. Allan greeted me shortly after arriving and I let him know what I was looking for. I'm glad I didn't have to search all over for someone to help me like I've run in to at a few other dealerships. He fought through the cold weather to show me vehicle after vehicle till we found one that worked. We didn't end up doing the deal that day since it was a little more than what I had budgeted. Allan being the great guy that he is, called me a couple days later to let me know of more options that would be available for me from a new shipment that was coming in. I was happy that he kept working to help me well after I had left that day. Not every sales guy would go above and beyond like that. That's why I think he deserves 5 stars. The dealership did a great job making their vehicles available and did a fantastic detailing job on the slighty used vehicle that i purchased. I would have given Key West Ford 5 stars but I only received a half tank of gas when I left. I figured after giving them tens of thousands of dollars in business a full tank would have left a nice impression on their customer. It would have been completely empty if it wasn't for Allan seeing it before I left and he was quick to get it up to at least half for me. Overall a pretty good experience.
Listen closely, B.C. drivers. There’s a rumbling sound - almost too distant to discern, offering nothing more than smoke and vibrations. Soon, however, it will reach the Lower Mainland... and it will bring the new 2018 Expedition with it.
According to The News Wheel, Ford is preparing to unleash its 2018 Expedition on North America - promising best-in-class performance with every press of the pedal. This SUV has been reinvented, with its two engine options now emphasizing high-speeds:
Ford has increased the capabilities of its Expedition, with each powertrain delivering improved performance. When mated to the new 10-speed automatic transmission and integrated Auto Start-Stop technology, each of these options can deliver up to 9,300 pounds of towing. This pairs with an available AWD to ensure peerless handling on every back-road.
The sport utility market will never be the same.
The 2018 Expedition is scheduled for an early fall debut. To learn more about this platform - including further specs and financing options - contact our dealership today.
With each terrain comes a challenge. You scowl at the endless twists and turns, feeling your truck heave into (yet another) new gear. These rocky roads leave the engine overwhelmed - with the transmission grinding its way through every possible drive-mode. It’s going to be a rough ride.
Allow Ford to provide some relief. With the release of the 2017 F-250 Super Duty, drivers can finally experience smooth transitions - with integrated ESOF technology adapting to every mile and every need.
According to The Drive, the new F-250 is tailored for the back-roads. Fused to its six-speed automatic transmission is an Electronic-Shift-on-the-Fly (ESOF) system, which promises effortless handling on every adventure. This tech - which comes standard on the XLT trim - monitors changing environmental conditions and automatically engages the drivetrain as needed. It redistributes torque between the front and rear wheels, allowing for 2WD, 4WD, or 4WD Hi modes; and it locks the differential to ensure crisp responses.
Through this, Super Duty drivers can more efficiently navigate the Lower Mainland - with the F-250 instantly responding to inclines, sharp corners, and every terrain in between. There will be no loss of speed and no uncertainty.
Traveling just became easy.

It’s the narrowest of parking spaces - its lines long since faded and its sides flanked by sleek sedans. You peer at it, trying to gauge the distance. It seems so... small, and your pick-up is decidedly large. How can it possibly fit? A quick scan around the garage, however, reveals that there are no other options. You must somehow navigate this treacherous path or risk driving in circles for another half-hour. You wince and prepare to push the pedal.
Ford suggests that you let the 2017 F-150 Raptor take over.
According to Forbes, the new Raptor streamlines the parking process. Boasting the Keep Out Zone system, it provides drivers with seamless maneuverability - utilizing a 360-degree camera to quickly assess, and measure, spaces. It then displays these findings (height, length, and width) onto a high-definition screen, using yellow gridlines to highlight the most efficient routes. More importantly, it also offers warnings, indicating whether chosen spots are simply too narrow for the truck.
Through this, drivers can easily determine whether they should park or move on - with the Keep Out Zone function alerting them to all potential dangers. Immediately recognize whether the 2017 Raptor is a perfect fit or a perfect disaster.

Too often does performance prove the only concern of pick-up fans - with every glance given to engine outputs, air intakes, and the stiffness of a suspension. All other concerns pale in comparison to V8 power.
With the release of the 2017 F-250 XLT, however, Ford is embracing a new philosophy - one where exceptional trailering pairs with equally exceptional style. Prepare to be impressed by more than what’s under the hood.
Ford brings sleek design to the pick-up market. The 2017 F-250 XLT is boldly styled, with chrome defining both its front and rear bumpers. Four dual-beam headlamps frame the fenders, while metallic tubulars line the cab steps. The cargo box - which is both partitionable and stackable - boasts black tow hooks; the bar-style grille adds distinction; and custom rail moldings highlight the muscular profile (262-inches long, 78-inches high).
To further impress, the new F-250 also hosts a suite of optional exterior features - allowing drivers to customize their trucks with:
LED Box Lighting.
Chrome Tow Hooks.
A Drop-In Bedliner.
... and more.
Each detail showcases Ford’s signature high-roofline and wide body - creating a look that is unmistakable.

F-Series fans, rejoice! Ford has finally unveiled the engine line-up for the 2018 F-150 - promising best-in-class power with every mile.
Equipment World reports that the 2018 F-150 (which should arrive this fall) will deliver staggering off-road capabilities - thanks to its full range of powerplants. Ford has paired this pick-up with five unique options, enabling drivers to more easily define their heavy-duty needs. Consider a:
3.3L Port Fuel Direction Injection V6 - with 290 HP and 265 lb.-ft of torque.
2.7L EcoBoost V6 - with 325 HP and 400 lb.-ft of torque.
5.0L Ti-VCT V8 - with 395 HP and 400 lb.-ft of torque.
3.5L EcoBoost V6 - with 375 HP and 470 lb.-ft of torque.
3.5L High-Output EcoBoost - with 450 HP and 510 lb.-ft of torque.
These numbers showcase a massive increase in performance for the F-150, with Ford averaging an HP rise of 9 points and a torque rise of 17 points. This allows the truck to push past the competition, ensuring segment-leading results on the highway.
Excited? We are!
The 2018 F-150 promises to be a worthy addition to the F-Series family. To learn more about the platform contact Key West Ford today.
The spec sheet proves impressive - a collection of numbers and percentages, all promising best-in-class performance. You remain wary, however. Too often have you trusted automotive mathematics, only to find yourself stalled on the side of the road. Your payloads were too great and your demands were too many. No truck could accommodate them.
According to the Chicago Tribune, Ford has created the perfect pick-up platform - with the 2017 F-350 delivering up to 16,700 pounds of conventional trailering!
Framed by a 6.2L SOHC V8 engine, this truck revs to 485 HP and 430 lb.-ft of torque. Its six-speed SelectShift automatic transmission promises direct line-drive access, while the twin I-beam suspension adapts to ever-changing inclines with ease. 18-inch wheels offer rugged pavement performance; heavy-duty shock absorbers alleviate payload strains; and integrated Trailer Brake Control technology allows for seamless hitch-and-ball alignments.
Through this, the 2017 F-350 XLT yields superior towing capabilities. It enables drivers to rumble down the road with confidence, and it spares them the frustration of a sudden engine failure.

Variety isn’t merely the spice of life. It’s also the defining force of the 2017 Edge - with Ford emphasizing the need for custom performance. No longer are drivers forced to endure standardized features. Instead they can transform their highway experiences, piecing together powertrains that impress with every mile.
According to The Philadelphia Inquirer, Ford has redesigned the 2017 Edge. This crossover now offers three distinct engine options, enabling drivers to tailor their off-road requirements:
Each of these engines allows drivers to accommodate their specific needs, promising performance (the 2.7L), economy (the four-cylinder), or speed (the 3.5L). Create a bespoke powertrain with ease - and then pair it with 73 cu.-ft of cargo space and a responsive FWD. The 2017 Edge is the perfect option for traveling through B.C.!
Want to test it for yourself? Visit Key West Ford today for further information about this platform. We’ll gladly provide specs, financing aid, and more.
It’s been a seven-year struggle - with Ranger fans begging Ford to restore their beloved pick-up, trying to coax even the smallest of production schedules. Ever since this mid-size truck was taken from the highway, drivers have been doing all they can to get it back.
It seems their efforts will soon be rewarded.
Car and Driver reports that Ford is testing a new Ranger! The 2019 model has been spotted in Michigan, boasting a wide-fendered profile and an elevated suspension (the Raptor influence is both obvious and welcome). Though heavily camouflaged, the familiar short-bed was visible; and the recessed HID headlamps were given a place of prominence along the front fascia.
Despite sneaking a peek at the 2019 Raptor, though, Car and Driver was unable to determine the available powertrain. It was simply too quiet, purring down the Michigan streets and delivering none of the usual V8 rumble. This has led to intense speculation about Ford’s plans for the future, with critics debating the likelihood of: a 2.7L EcoBoost V6; a four-cylinder V6; or a 3.5L V6. All seem possible and would emphasize economy, a cornerstone of the mid-size market.
What do you think? Which engine will anchor the 2019 Raptor? Key West Ford has its fingers crossed for the EcoBoost (which, on F-Series models, has always been paired with twin turbochargers).

An empty road waits before you - free of passing cars and pedestrians. Its lanes are wide; its pavement is smooth; and it proves a temptation too great to resist. You want to drift.
With the release of the 2018 Mustang, Ford will help you.
The Detroit News reports that Ford is bringing new power to its signature pony-car - fusing the 2018 Mustang with electronic line-lock capabilities. This function allows drivers to perform perfect burn-outs, sending all torque to the rear wheels and (carefully) negating the front brake safeguards. This lets the tires spin for fifteen seconds and creates a cloud of satisfying smoke.
Line-lock technology has been available on past Mustang models. Never before, however, was it a standard feature - and it certainly was never offered on the lower trim engines. Now drivers of the GT and the EcoBoost alike can share in the fun. As Mark Schaller, the brand’s market manager, explains in an interview with The Detroit Press, “We didn’t want (our) customers to miss out.”
Will you be taking advantage of the latest line-lock innovation? We certainly will!
The 2018 Mustang should arrive in B.C. by the fall. To learn more about this platform contact our team today.
